Camo Weapons Nail Art ~ Shop Keeki

Hey all!

Today’s details are for these black and camo green matte weapons nails. I’m a massive fan of first person shooter video games, which inspired these nails today! For this nail art you will need:

  • OPI natural nail base coat
  • Camo green polish (Rimmel camouflage chic)
  • Black polish
  • Love in weapons water decals (buy here)
  • Small bowl of water
  • striping tape
  • Clear polish (la femme)
  • Gold studs
  • Your favorite top coat  (seche vite)
  • Matte top coat (OPI matte top coat)

Step one:

Apply one coat of OPI natural nail base coat to all nails, allow to fully dry on the nail. Next apply a piece of striping tape a third down the pinky nail and one diagonally across the middle finger nail.

Step Two:

Paint the top section of the pinky nail and the bottom section of the middle nail in black. Paint the bottom section of the pinky nail and the top section of the middle nail in camo green. Remove the striping tape while the polish is still wet to get clean lines. Paint all other nails with the camo  green polish. Allow all polish to dry 100% before moving onto the next step.

Step three:

Cut out and place the water decals you are going to use into the small bowl of water, let them soak for around 15 seconds and then they will slide easily off of the backing paper. Place the decal on the nail in the desired position and then remove the excess water using a cotton pad.

Step four:

Coat all nails with decals on with a layer of clear polish to seal in the decal. Once dry add a layer of your favorite top coat, while this is still wet add the gold stud to the nail and press it down firmly. Once this shiny top coat is dry add a layer of your matte top coat on top.
